"We own two weeks at Kona Coast Resort II. We bought our first 1 Br week at the full developer price and loved it. We then bought our second week a 2 Br for $10,000 the resale price. We recently traded our 96 -1 Br and requested only the Disney or Marriott resorts in Orlando. We were confirmed the same day in the Marriott Sabal Palms 2 Br. We love Hawaii and we only would pay resale prices."

"In 1988, I purchased a week at the Hono Koa Resort on West Maui for almost $15,000. It's a two bedroom Hala unit right on the ocean. Over the years I've used it and traded it well with Interval International who have always offered me 2 for 1 when I deposit my week. What I do with the extra week is book a condo on flex-time in Orlando anytime of the year (usually a 2 or 3 bedroom at Westgate) and rent it for $700 per week. I pay the $29.00 guest certificate so those I rent it to have it reserved in their name. I've found I could get more than $700.00 but at this price it's so easy to rent. I use the funds to pay all my yearly fees for ownership. My maintenance fees, my trade fees, and club membership. So now during my week or weeks of travel my condo is all paid for!"
